is my pilot bearing in enough?

ive been, uhh, "tapping" it and it just wont go in any farther.

there were two in the clutch kit.. appeared to be identical... one was a bushing, the other a bearing... did i fug up and this one not fit or what?

and yea i know some of you prefer the bushing over the bearing, but i chose this once since its what ive seen used in the later OEM setups, and it seems to work for them without issue.

You've got a long way to go. Your throwout bearing, if I'm not mistaken, should be at least flush with the hole your "tapping" it into.

yanked it back out and looked at it.

there was a burr on it... sucky quality control there... heh.

i had to goto the GM dealer anyway since i somehow lost a flywheel bolt.. (doh...) but i got a new one there and it went in like normal...

you know its a damn tight fit when a stupid lil burr wont let it go in...
