T.V. Cable

I just finished my motor swap. I swapped a TBI 305 for carbed 355. I haven't hooked up the tv cable to the throttle bracket yet, but the cable feels really loose and moves back and forth easy. does this mean that its not hooked up correctly inside the tranny? If so how do I fix it?

That is a tough one. You could just check to see if it is connected still. It connects on the passengers side of the transmission right next to the filler tube hole. You will need a 7 or 8 mm wrench or socket to get the little bolt off. Then pull the TV cable out of the transmission and see if the little hook is through the hole in the end of the cable. You might not actually be able to see it because it is in a tough spot, but hopefully you will be able to some how. Let me know if i'm unclear.

You may want to drop the trans pan and take a look to see if it's attached.
