I am soon going to be pulling the rearend from the car, i want better gears, and i was thinking of trying to find a used 4th gen rear end, throw in some 3.73's, and swap it in. I've heard the 4th gen rearend is signifigantly stronger then ours and it sticks out a lil futher, wider wheelbase. plus I wanna get some 4th gen SS rims (I know i could jus get adapters).

I know it has been done plenty, but who knows what all parts i will need from the 4thgen? And anyone who has done this swap, how hard was it?

I will be pullin it from a junkyard probably, need to know what all to grab.
