v6 converter in a v8

Car: 85 Camaro
Engine: 350 Carbed
Transmission: Stock 700r4
v6 converter in a v8
The converter is out of a van. Its the 4.3 converter with a v6 700r4 tranny. I have a 350 with a 700 r4. Will this interchange? I think I read somewhere I would stall at like 2000 stock with it. I leave the line now maxed stall at 1100 rpm.

if its the same spline and the bolt pattern matches up to the fly wheel i dont see why it wouldnt
