I need help, my 700r4 wont engage whenever I step on the gas like to pass another car. The engine rpms jump up and the trans wants to engage but kicks out. Any ideas, my car is a 91 z28 with tpi 350 motor HELP!!!!

 

Is the fluid low? How many miles on the trans and torque converter?

 

I had the trans rebuild about a year ago and I wasnt happy with the company that rebuilt it. It has about 10 thousand miles on it, I never had a problem when I had the 305 motor in it. Oh, I forgot to mention that I put a 350 in the car. The trans was built with all the good stuff in it. I had the trans rebuilt for the reason listed above but it didnt do any good. Could there be something missing that Im over looking.
