I need a new torque converter. Every thing is stock. 3.23 gears on a stock tranny. This will be on a daily driver. Don't really need anything fancy. I just want it to perform as good as new from factory. Please give me your suggestions.

If you want stock performance, then put the stocker back in, otherwise, find anything between 2400-2800 stall.

but what is a "stocker". where can I find one. someplace like Advance or AutoZone?? If I have all stock 7004r how many splines will it have?? As far as diameter, I see that on a few descriptions, but does that apply to a stock T/C??

The stock convertor is 30 splines and 12" wide.

I don't know what they cost, but you could put something like a b&m or tci lockup style in that would feel better, but everyone is different.
