Car: 83 T/A

Engine: 350

Transmission: 5-speed

28 spline disc axle in a drum rear end

I was wondering if it is o.k. to use a 28 spline axle from a disc rearend in a drum brake rear. I have an 83 T/A that I what to convert to 28 spline axles, the car now has 3.73 gears with an open rear. I have a new 3 series posi (28 spline) ready to install.
