Grinding on shifts, reverse
Hi all~!
well when i put my car into reverse sometimes (mainly after i have it in neutral) it will grind. Almost like once its in neutral you can feel something start spinning and it grinds against it once you put it in gear. i dont know im a car retard. but learning! any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have had this problem for 100K miles.
To stop it I put it into 5th first then drop back into reverse. Works everytime. I guess that it stops or slows the spinning syncros enough to get in gear.

yeah there is no synchro on the reverse so it will grind, put in any higher gear first before reverse.
