T-5 whines in 1,2,3 and what flywheel for a SJ 327
My t-5 whines in 1,2,3 gear...and what flywheel do i need for a small journal 327 and my t-5 to connect up with my starter..

Probably needs a clutch gear, countergear, and all the bearings.
You need a 83-85 305 F body flywheel and starter, and you need to have a machine shop drill the late-model bolt hole in your block for your starter.

For the wining noise is one of the bearing. Usually the inputshaft bearing is going south. I never worked on 327 before but I think any pre-86 int balance and 153 teeth flywheel would work.
