Torque converter to flexplate orientation

I noticed that the torque converter on my 700r4 has a small weight on the outer perimeter that I assume is for balance. is this weight supposed to be lined up with the flexplate in a specific orientation or what?

No, it doesn't matter. The converter is neutral balanced, so it can go in any orientation that the bolt holes line up.
