Flywheel from an 83-85 Z28 / TA, they are the correct 153 tooth dia and made for a 2 piece rear seal.

305 flywheels???

is it a 305 t/a or z28 flywheel because i call the dealer and they say that 350 was not avalable this year(83 to 85) true??? and he said that if its a 305 standard flywheel in his computer he saw 3 different part possible witch one is it??? and he think that the 83 to 85 flywheel has a weight weld inside and my 74 engine is alreddy balanced on crank with a bigger piece on crank???

what about to find a bigger bell housing that fit the big 1974 flywheel? will it touch the transmission tunnel because of his size one inch bigger??? and my old 1974 flywheel and 3 finger pressureplate off a towing the spline as 8 toots think so and i need a big clutch disk plate wit 26 toot spline does it exist???

witch way should i go???

1974bigger flywheel/pressureplate 3 finger witc alot of spring/clutch 26 splined if does exist? or

1989 stock steup wit flywheel off something else???

83-85 305 F-body flywheel.... if you have a choice, get the one for the G VIN code motor (L69)

83-92 clutch

38-97 starter, but you'll have to get the additional hole drilled in your block, if yours doesn't already have it (being a 74 it probably won't, some 350 blocks started having it in around 78 or so)

Ignore what the dealer tells you; all those guys can do is look it up in a book, and it's not in their books, so you'll get either blank stares, wrong info, or "it won't work"

Ignore the "weight" business; the 83-85 305 F-body one is the right one

The 74 setup won't fit; so it doesn't matter whether it's better or stronger. When in doubt, go with what fits.

The 89 clutch is the same except that the flywheel won't fit the 74 crank. The clutches in these cars are the same from 83 to 92, like I posted.
