I am having a problem with my transmission. When i press the clutch, put it in 1st, then start letting out the clutch the tranny makes a big thump sound or just throws it out of the gear. people tell me that it is the syncronizers , i think it is called.

Is it an internal part? what tools do i need to change this?

If i have to take the whole tranny out then at the same time i should change the clutch right?

Can some one give me some info on how to change this or what it is.
