high mile 700r4

I was wondering if I should put a corvette servo in transmission, but it has 136,000 miles on it? Also, is it a good to put a b&m shift improver kit that high of mileage? Where can I buy a corvette servo?

That's a little less than the mileage on mine when I did similar things.

I wouldn't suggest the B&M kit. No one around these parts tends to recommend them.

Try http://www.pro-built.net . Dana will set you up with what you need.

glad to hear that cause Im about to put in a Transgo HD kit from Dana and my tranny has 135000. When I got the car with 74000 I didnt really get on it til I started going to the track and that has only been 4 times. other than that I take it easy with the tranny and the car. So mine should be ok for a kit install. I hope!

corvette servo it has a larger area to apply the band, which makes it hold the band with greater force. It in improves shifts.
