My transmission is actin up...everyone come in

please dont tell me to do a search and stuff...i have no time for that

i treat my transmission pretty well...i dont neutral bomb it or anything. the only thing i do when im drivin is let off and then stomp it to downshift for more power...like when im passing or something. today i went to pass...and it wouldnt go.

from a stop it will go through 1st gear til about 4600 and then stop there until i let off...the engine sounds like its bogged down at this time. if im at half throttle its fine to shift through the hears. but if im in D...and i stomp on it, it will downshift to 2nd and stop at about 3000-3500 rpms...until i let off. i can barely do over 60 like this. i dont know whats wrong. I checked the TV cable...and its ok. the fluid smells a little burnt but nothing terrible. please guys give me some answers.

i will be taking it to an ac delco shop tomorrow to have them install my headers-back exhaust, so therefore it will be on a lift. if i get answers from you guys i can tell them to do more than just the exhaust, and have them fix whatever is wrong. if it helps, i had the fuel pump replaced about 3 weeks ago and the 02 sensor done a few months ago. the transmission fluid was done at around 55,000 miles, and now im at 57,150. coolant too. had a tune up at 55 thou as well.

Come on can't someone help me?

If it helps, this morning when it was cold, i adjusted the kickdown cable, and took it out to school. She ran perfectly until it got warm. Then it began doing what i described previously. The shifts were hard when it was working right. I dont get it.

Sounds like something internal has failed, probably a lip seal on a clutch pack.... I doubt you're going to be able to fix it without a more or less complete rebuild
