If I decide to keep my car I am leaning towards a T56 swap.

The roads really suck around here, and while my Iroc will not be a daily driver anymore, I am wondering if I will bottom out everywhere I go?

I heard the ground clearance on the t56 crossmember sucks. This is not good, defently since I scrape the front of my car almost everywhere (with new struts installed)!

What do you guys think?

The front of your car scraping isn't going to be any more of an issue with a different trans.

If you are concerned about ground clearance b/c of the aftermarket crossmembers, modify a stock one or do something custom.

I know a different trans will not change the scraping in the front, just trying to point out how bad the roads are around here.

I was just wanting advice on how to get the most ground clearance out of a t56 swap.
