New poly transmission mount adjustment?

I installed a new ES poly transmission mount yesterday since my old mount had a tear in it. It now chirps the tires in 1-2 shifts, =). My question is the mount had slotted holes in it and I had to shift it all the way towards the passenger side for the bottom hole to line up.

Does it matter if it's not lined up perfectly from left to right?

Thanks

Joe

PS. I had to use a file in the cross member hole so that the new bolt would fit. =)

doesn't matter, that's why it has slots. if it matter where it was located it'd be dowelled in place.

I also noticed when I did mine yesterday (removed my jegster torque arm) that the ES mount is 1/4 taller due to the plate it comes with. THe instructions say, the plate is for pre-load.

Would you think the 1/4" hight difference changes the pinion angle?
