Just had the transmission rebuilt again (rebuilt torque converter blew and sent metal through the pump) Anyhow, i just got it back in the car and went to go get fluid (in another car of course) and nobody is stocking the mobil 1 synthetic that i used to fill the converter before installation. I have three questions: Would it hurt to mix synthetic fluid with regular atf? and are rebuilt torque converters shipped with oil in them? Would it hurt the transmission if the converter had regular atf shipped in it?
