cheap source for 400SBC -> T56 flywheels.
NOPI has their centerforce flywheel for 312.64..... no. they wont know the part number... frankly, the guy was a idiot and didnt even know how to look it up without knowing the car.
HOWEVER. Summit does know how to look up stuff. and they price match.
someone i know online from another 3rdgen site works there, and of course, he knew exactly what i was talking about. if you want to talk to him, hes ext 5852. he has a nice blown stealthram firebird with T56, ect... great guy.
summit will price match and beat it by a dollar.
so you can get a new centerforce 400/T56 flywheel for 311.64
yes its higher then if you machined and weighed a LT1 one to work... and yea its higher then if you rasied the clutch pivoit point and modded it all to use a standard chevy clutch..
but it does bolt in with minimal effort, and lets you run stock LT1 parts.
