700R4.....Pump Gone?

Hey Guys

I've got a 700R4 that Im having trouble with. It was rebuilt 2 or 3 years ago and had a shift kit, vette servo etc put in it.

It used to shift very firmly, but just recently the shifts have become much smoother...kind of like stock. This has happened progressively over a couple drives. Downshifting seems to still have a pretty crisp shift however.

The TV cable is adjusted properly and in good working condition.

Could there be some valve stuck? Or maybe something going on with the 2nd gear servo? Or maybe it could be the pump?

Any suggestions or experiences to share would be most helpful.
I've been thinking of going to a trans shop and getting them to measure the line pressure.

Thanks

Try having it flushed at an oil change place or do it yourself before you tear it apart.

Sounds like an option, hopefully I get a chance to have it looked at or get it pulled apart myself soon.

I also just noticed today that the shift points have all raised a considerable amount. Especially 1st gear.

We'll after further investigation I've found I lost 2nd and 4th gear.

This has happened before....broke a bin on the clutch band last time....and apparently 2nd and 4th are on the same one.

Guess its gonna cost me some cash now.
Thanks for the help anyway
