168T flywheel
What is the implication of using a 168T flywheel? Will it work with the T5 bellhousing as long has I have the matching starter? If it fits, anyone know what vehicle to tell the parts clerk when I go to buy a clutch and pressure plate?
W.C. T5, small block with 2 piece rear seal.
I bought a complete T5 setup from a 1988 Firebird, but my motor has a 2 piece real seal... hence I need to find a flywheel. I have a line on a flywheel, but it might be 168T. Hence my Q, if anybody is wondering why...
Thanks,
EdB

Right, won't work.
You need the flywheel for a 83-85 Camaro/Firebird 305. It will be 12.8" 153 tooth.
There are 2: one for the low-performance LG4, and the lightweight one for the L69. I don't recall the TPI 305 being available with a 5-speed in 85.
