TKO vs. 3550

What are the differences between these tranny's. I was told by someone that it was pretty much only the output shaft. Is this true?

Transmission: `95 T56 \ `88 200-4R

input, output, tailhousing and seal/bushing for tail.

I guess on ford applications the input (10 vs 26 spline) would be different. But with a 3rd gen specific application it would have to have the TKO's 26 spline input to work, correct?

They make them for a GM 26 spline disk yes.

How do I know?

the 3550 in my car has a 23spline input.

Transmission: See "Engine"...
