Which pilot bearing?

Seems I have several options for a pilot bushing/bearing.

First there is the Motormite Bushing part number 14650 for $4.29

Then there is a Timken Bearing part number 57080 for $11.99

There is also a Timken HD Option Bearing part number PB656HD for $11.99.

And apparently I can also order one straight from GM.....or one from Lakewood......

So which do I use? Also, how do I take the old one off? I was at autozone lookin at their pilot bearing removal rental tool.....and the little jaws wouldnt go in the hole for the pilot bushing I was looking at. Seems like if I grind a bit off of the tool so that the jaws will close closer together...it would work...but is there a better option?

I always use a GM one; probably same mfgr. as the other roller bearing ones.

Puller? I am 100% happy with my SK

Any of the bearings will work. I've never been able to tell a difference in any of them.

Easiest way is to "hydraulic" it out with grease. Pack the space behind your bushing with grease, put your clutch alignment tool in it, and whack it with your BFH. When the bushing starts to move, pack some more grease in, and so on, until it comes out.
