B&M TV Cable

i bought a b&m tv cable and its a universal GM adjustable cable. the part number is 70242. does anyone know how to adjust the cable to make it longer? it says its length can be adjusted but i dont know how

Should be what looks like a nut around the cable. Loosen it with a boxed end wrench, and pull out on the end, the cable will pull out. when you have it set to the right length, tighten the nut. Kinda hard to explain, but I think that should help ya.

Transmission: powerglide,auto overdrive, th350,4L80
yeah its not real bad to adjust just loosen it up like ljnowell said and hook it up on the engine and let it hang down and adjust it to length then pull it out and tighten it up

ok yeah..i was playin around with that but i wasnt sure what it was. i didnt wanna pull it out and like wreck the cable or anything. thanks guys.
