how many splines

i have a 86 camaro with a stock t 5 how many splines do my new transmissions need to work

will either of these ones work

Engine: L69 w/ TPI on top / 305 4bbl

Transmission: `95 T56 \ `88 200-4R

Using search query spline T5*, I came across this thread.

Of the two you linked, the world class model is preferable for sure.

yup if you have the right bell housing and assuming both are from whatever engine size yours is (v6 doesnt work on v8..ect)the newer model being the ''world class'' or whatever over glorified words they call it is a little stronger. i would go with the wc t5 like i did.
