Eversince i have bought my 92RS my transmission has slipped. One day i was going up a slight incline and i heard something grinding and really bogging me down. This happend a couple times. I feaked...... I knew something had to be done about my transmission so i dropped the pan and drained the fluid and replaced the filter. After the grinding noise and bogging down had happend the first time i noticed that my rpm's arent consistent with the speed as before. When i was going 60 before i was at 2000 rpm's but now its under 2000. Was that griding noise my transmission or something else??? How much estimate would it cost to rebuild a 700R4 trans??? I would love to convert to a manual but i think that might be a bit pricey.....can anyone give me an estimate on the cost of that?
