Transmission: 700R4
Transmission temp gauge?

Im getting ready to put a new transmission in my camaro and i want to install a trans temp gauge. Only problem is i dont know where on the tranny to hook it up at. Anyone know?

Transmission: 6 spd Manual
Axle/Gears: Dana 44, 3:45:1
There are a few options.. You could put it in one of the transmission cooler lines (like the B&M Trans Temp gauge instructions say), or you could modify your transmission pan to accept the sender and monitor the temp of the fluid itself (might be a better indication of true transmission temperature). Up to you.

A sender in the pan doubles as a convenient drain plug too.
