Is GM #10125380 the right T56 flywheel?
I just got a used flywheel that was said to be from a 95 T56. From what I've read...the part number I need is 10125379....however.....the partnumber on my flywheel doesnt match. The numbers are kinda hard to read....but as far as I can tell it either says 10126680 AR...........or more likely 10125380 AR....but neither of these part numbers are valid GM part numbers......do I have the right flywheel?

I may be missing something...but that doesnt really tell me anything I havent already read before. But looking at this picture....

it looks like the flywheel I have...only my flywheel has a few less holes on the left hand side (used for balancing i guess)..........and looking at the picture.....i THINK it reads 10125380 on the bottom

Well, a few things since you don't wanna take my word for it.
You seem to have the "looks like an LT1 flywheel" part under control. Hopefully all the rest of the bases are covered now.
- 86-up Chevy flywheels have that bolt pattern. Does yours have that bolt pattern size, and similar counterweight (arch shaped material) ?
- LT1 flywheels from f-bodies have the scalloped edges and look similar to a ~16lb T5 flywheel except that they're deeper. If you set a T5 or T56 disc with the spring hub facing towards the front of the car and it clears flywheel bolts set into the bolt pattern, then it's a T56 flywheel. If it hits the bolts, it's a T5 flywheel
- Casting numbers are not part numbers. This applies to flywheels, interior plastic parts, and other items.
