700r4 -t5 conversion
ok i'm almost done with this conversion . but my firend who was helping me out. is an automotive engiener. and when droping the sterign colum to get easyer acces to the brake peddle assembly he took off the igntion swtich box. thingy and told me i had to get a new one cause this was for a automatic car and i need one for a manul but in all the places i've read about the conversion thiers no mention about that. am i spouse to acctuly to taht or is it fine the way it is

It's the same ignition switch.
Your steering column won't have the key lock that an original T5 car would have.
You should disconnect the park neutral switch at the shifter and leave it "open" if you're running any sort of an ECM.
