Warped Spin

Ok guys. I just wanted to air out whats been happening here to get some ideas in case im missing something....

My RHS wheel spins in a warped fashion. The capiler moves about 4-5mm in and out on each turn.

Ive swaped the new rotors from left to right and its still there.

Ive replaced the axle bearings.

Ive bought another axle (2nd hand) and its still there.

I took the first axle in to an engineer today to put it on a lathe to double check and it WAS slightly out.

So does this mean my "new" axle must be bent as well? Or is there something else that could cause this symtom that im missing.

Surely for something to be out in teh diff to cause that much movemnt at the wheel id either hear something or the axle would have to be bashed in.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers :hail:

Yup, you got yourself another pre-bent axle. Bummer.

Welcome to the world of used parts.

It's amazingly easy to bend the stock axles. Curbing the car sideways, even something as innocent as taking a right turn a little too tight or sliding sideways on ice, can bend them.

Not much choice, other than to get another axle.
