700R4 question.

I found a good price on a 700R4 that was rebuilt 10k miles ago. He wants less than $200.

I think that the tranny is out of an '83 firebird. I have an '88 camaro, so I was wondering what needed to be changed in order for it to work with my computer. Since it is less than $200, I don't mind having it changed to work with mine.

Thanks guys.

Thr 1983 has a 27 spline input shaft, compared to the 30 spline you have. You would have to use the 1983 torque converter.
