4L60E shifts to late???

Hey Guys I know this is a thirdgen board but I really need some help so please don't lock this on me. I have a 94 s-10 blazer with a rebuilt 4L60E trans in it and when I shift from park to reverse or drive it clunks but doesn't if I go from park to 1st. Also when I drive it holds it in gear way to long causeing it to shift hard but if I start in first and shift it myself it shifts perfect and your can't feel anything, Now my mounts are all good and the u-joints are brand new so rule that out for the clunk.. So what could be bad here? some type of sensor or somthing to be adjusted? thanks so much guys..

I got 97 Z71 with 4l60E. The clunck noise is normal but you can reduce the noise by greasing the U-joint (female part).
for late shifting: if you have a heavy foot that would be normal too, my truck shift at 5500rpm from first to second. also shifting hard is if you drove your truck hard beacuse the PCM thinks there is a load on the engine and it thinks you're towing something, so it shift hard so you won't lose any RPM. Now if you turn off your truck for few minutes then you drive it nice and slow and it does shift hard you need to adjust your TV cable or your PCM needs to relearn.
I hope this will help

Oh wait you have OBD I. Most likely you need to adjust your TV cable.

Oh I am sorry you have 4l60E
Hard Shifting: Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) valve sticks when it is hot causing a harsh shift condition. There is a company called Sonnax makes a replacement valve and kit to fix this condition the kit The kit has an oversized valve, spring and sleeve as well as a reamer to increase the bore diameter to match the new oversized valve.
I hope this will help

Well I pulled the codes and I got a 73. Its a pressure control solonoid ciruit error. I am told the codes triped because the computer sends a certain amount of amperage to the solonoid depending on load and what not to control the line pressure, NOw if the computer doesnt recive a certain amount back from the solonoind it trips a code 73 and bypasses letting full line pressure so nothing slips. Now I figured oh then there must be a break in the wires somwhere, so I give the wire power at the computer and use a testlight on the plug into the trans and they all made the light illuminate. So I figured they are fine right?? Then I read it coudl be the computer, So I change that and nothing, Then since I work at pepboys i figured change all the sensors that give it input on the engine so I did cause hey 20% off and its got 167k on it so why not. So now the only thing I can think it can be is the actual solonoid or the harness in the trans. What do you think?? Any input on anyting here would be so helpful guys, I need this thing done be4 it snows cause i don;t think my gay little hondas gonna be to good and plus i look like a moron driving it lol.. thanks alot everyone
