Has anyone install a rebuilt tranny from autozone or heard of Accurate transmissions? I need a new tranny and i called up autozone for the heck of it checking on other parts, and I asked about there tranny's, they can sell a rebuilt Accurate brand transmission for a lot less than anyone else including Checker/Kragen, which also sell those transmissions. They quoted a price of $450, which I believe is pretty damn cheap. Any opionions?

 

You get what you pay for. Odds are a 450 dollar 700r4 isnt going to take much abuse. Look for it to have the cheapest generic brand of everything installed. I feel the same away about the trans from those places as I do thier crate motors, avoid them like the plague.
