i was wonder if there is an adjustment at all for the clutch. he is my problem, sometime i cant get there car into reverse when it is running but if i shut it off it goes in fine. someone told me to bled the fluid out because there might be air in it. its a 94 tranny. all other gears shift fine but once in awhile it wont go into reverse. the reverse lockout if working so now i stuck. thanks

 

Have you tried shifiting into 5th gear and then go into reverse? I don't think there is any syncro's in reverse so this helps.

Its the reverse lock out solenoid. You just have to fight against it.

EDIT: Just re-read your post. How are you sure its working? I know I have toi fight mine. The t-56 does have a reverse syncro so no need to throw it in any other gear before you go into reverse.
