700r4 / 4l60E differences

just as asked above, my 2.8L's 700r4 blew, have access to plenty of 3.4L v6 4l60E's from my favorite yard for cheap, so my question, what problems may i run into. I know bolt patterns are the same, and TCs should swap directly also, anyone have a clue as to other issues that might come up. Benefit to this would be

1. put in a core which hasn't been rebuilt (mine has one overhaul on it)

2. Speedo will finally work w/ 4th gen interior swap

3. TCC selenoid will automatically operate from reference from the VSS, instead of me having to manually lock the setup and whatnot....

what are the downsides to this one, if there are any...besides the fact that it is a junkyard tranny (which i don't like, however, it doesn't bother me horribly. thanks in advance.

Shifts in the 700R4 are controlled hydraulically by the valvebody. The 4L60E is electronically controlled by the PCM.
