t-5 swap questions

first off....did anyone who has done this swap have any problems with vibration? also, does the center of the shifter mount on the tranny mark the center of the hole to be cut into the floor pan?

I seem to feel a bit more vibration than I had with the 700R4,but with the T-5 I leave my hand on the shifter more,so it could be my imagination.
As far as the hole goes,its pretty much centered over the square shifter mounting hole(on top of trans),maybe it's a bit offset to the drivers side on the tunnel itself

Its a safe bet that it is...as long as someone has'nt swapped out the original one

I feel some vibration but I think that is because of the poly trans mount I installed. I also installed a poly tq arm bushing too.

same here on the mounts. However, I felt more vibration from the stock steel driveshaft then I did from anything else. Put in a 4th gen steel one I got with my rear end and the vibration went away for the most part.

i don't have any vibration that i can tell of. i used a poly ES mount. and no problame with that. just gotta use that spacer and thats what i've been told. MAKE SURE you get all the pices to the puzzle
