hey everyone im new here soo hello to u all, well i have my 85 z28camaro for about a year now n i bought it off my friend n him n his father put a 355 in it that is slightly work with a modded 700r4 n it has a stock rear i took it to the track not to long ago n i ran a 15.2 with street tires n i thought i did SHYT as hell.... the engine is bored out to a 355, flat top pistions, lightened n shaved crank, stock ignition,headers 3in exhaust, stock heads with titanium vavle springs, pete jackson gears and a 600cfm eldlebrock on it, the cam i kno is a very lower cam i think its like a 415 i kno its really a low size cam i was wondering if there is something wrong here.? the car runs GREAT! i don't kno why it ran a 15.2??

 

try a posi with a 3.73 or so gear.. was traction a problem? even if it was it sounds like it should have atleast been in the mid 14 range..

 

Post a copy of the timeslip. Lots of good incremental times are listed. This will give everyone a better idea of where the car made (or lost) et or mph.
