Hydraulic system for clutch Qs

Ok, I have everything I need for the T-5 swap, i was just wondering about the master/ slave cylinders should the pistons be able to move into the cylinders when the system is totally disconected? (they dont move at all) I still need to bleed the system. My chiltons manual says that the cylinders can be overhauled. I asume I can find the seals and stuff that needs to be replaced at NAPA. I just hope this stuff isnt broken.... I dont want to spend tons more money.

You won't be able to find the rebuild parts. The Chilton's is mistaken.

If they have fluid in them, or if you can fill them and they hold fluid, they're good. About the only way they fail will involve a leak.

the only fluid that comes out is from the hole on the master cylinder that goes the resivoir. I guess its ok then... So you are saying that the cylinder cannot compress when the system is not hooked up? the push rod appears to be fully out and i can push it back in.
