bellhousing bolt rounded off
i have just removed my transmission and i began to remove the bolts that hold the bellhousing to the block. there is only one bolt separating me from my clutch, i rounded it off. how do i remove this bolt. im not sure if a pair of vice grips will do the job or if i have any room to fit a pair in. thanks guys. i can smell burnt clutch disk.

A smaller (13mm) 6pt socket might be able to get hammered onto it, and get it loosened . Good luck.
I had that happen recently with a cross pin bolt in the rear end. Ended up going to Sears and picking up their easy outs (something like $50 for the larger set). They get hammered on and basically cut into the bolt as you are unscrewing it. Worked beautifully.
