Rear Gears and Differentail Question
Ok, im pretty sure i have a 10 bolt (i counted them last time i was under my car, but it was like 4-5 months ago)
anyways, i want to get a 3.73 ring and pinion and a posi unit.
so what exact do i need, will any 10 bolt ring work? i was lookin on ebay for them, anything i should look out for?

you need a carrier to match your axles, or buy a carrier and then buy axles to match it. you need a gear set to match the series carrier you have, or a gear set for your carrier that is made to fit, but not in a factory ratio, or a gear set and shim to make it fit your carrier, plus all the related parts needed for the installation

Those are for the old Chevy 8.5" inch 10 bolt, your car has the new 7.675" "GM corporate" 10 bolt. You'll need to find a posi for the 7.675, there's nothing interchangeable between the two.
