FLYWHEEL, Is is worth it to change???

FLYWHEEL, Is is worth it to change???

Is it worth it to change ourt the flywheel for a lighter/heavier duty one? How long would it take....is it a pain in the *** to do?

if you have never worked on a trans i suggest having someone who has done it there guiding you and teaching you, there is alot to **** up there

Your info says you have an auto trans... You wouldn't have a flywheel if that was the case. Flexplates come with autos, flywheels come with manuals. Just incase you have a different car with a manual trans, a light weight flywheel is not good for drag use but would be ok for other types of racing.

I wouldn't tear it all apart to change the flywheel unless it were a competition car and I needed another edge; but if it's a daily driver and you have to do the clutch anyway, the light flywheel gives much better throttle response and makes it much more fun to drive.
