Flywheel or rearend?

ive come to a decison to make because i cant do both. I can either swap out my stock one leger rear-end with 2.73 gears for a 3.40's posi....or i can swap out my stock flywheel which weighs 27lbs for a new lightweight flywheel that weighs 15lbs. both will cost the same. my question is what to do? i do not want to sacrifice driveability, even though i NEVER drive the car in the rain or snow. I also do not want to sacrifice to much more gas mileage. i get about 17mpg now. however the point of either of the swaps is to get better performance. I run 13.1 with slicks...and 60foot of 2.1... i would love to get the car into mid 12's. and as u can deduce i do NOT have a stock engine. obviously anyone would jmp for the rearend, its a guarenteed better 1/4 mile time...but i also do not want to be replacing everything again. this is my project car and my baby...ive replaced everything on the car short of the rearend and the body! any insight is welcome!

Get the posi, definately. I think it'll give you a lot more performance than the flywheel. The flywheel may give you more power, but if you can't put it to the ground it won't matter.
