bellhousing inspection cover

is the bellhousing inspection cover also called an "extension housing seal"? i need to get a new one but cant find it under that name.

No. The ext hsg seal is where the drive saht plugs into the trans.

The name you gave should be close enough; or "clutch dust shield", "flywheel dust shield", etc.

thanks. anyone happen to know the part number for one of these so i can get it from gm parts direct?
