last year i put a 350 in my v6 firebird
my major problem now is gearing. i have a th-350 tranny 3500 stall, and my stock 2.73 gears, my launch is soso, but my third gear is much worse then my ****ty everyday civic...
im thinking of gettin a set of 4.10 or 3.73, im not sure what to go with. This is my weekend warrior, so everyday is not that big of a deal.... and the highway to the track is 45mph

can i have some of your guys opinions

You will get a hundred different opinions on this but here goes...I think 3.73's are better for street but IMO the 4.10's would be fine. I have 4.10's in my 95Z28 with no problems or loud whines etc. A lot of other people will also tell you they love their 3.42's. I would prefer the 3.73's. They will be fine for what you want.

 

I run 3.73's in my car. I had a turbo 350 with a 200 stall convertor. The 3.73 gears really woke the car up. I have a 355 motor in my car. JMO..
