Lock-up 700r4?

What is the difference between a non-lock up and a lock-up 700R4 transmission???

Lock-up 700R4s exist, non-lock-up ones don't. At least from the factory, anyway. All 700R4s are designed to use locking torque converters, but they can be modified to not care quite so much if they're used with a non-locking converter.
