stall ?
i am wondering if i should put a stall in my car or not. my cam in my new motor i am building is .458/.472 212/218 at .050. i am thinking of putting a 2500-2800 stall in it but think it might be a little big. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you will benefit from a higher stall speed.
IMO 2500-2800 is a bit much. 2200-2400 is probably enough. That's not all that much cam, you don't need a really radical loosening of it; but letting the engine get up into its optimum power band easier will help it feel alot peppier especially off the line.
