I was driving down the road, and I was gonna manually shift it just to get a feel for what the new motor and tranny was liek... Well, I had it in first, and I was putting it into second and there was some resistance, then it moved free. I don't think I broke the cable, seeing as I was PUSHING instead of pulling. I haven't been under there to see what went wrong, but why was it binding?

It sounds like it's broken.

Yep, I broke the bunny ears off of the plastic piece on the console of the shifter. I know this is a cheap part so I can replace it soon. Oh well. Stuff happens.Originally posted by Apeiron

For a minute there I thought the new 355 already killed your 700r4.
I did manage to get my motor and trans in today. Car should be running in a couple days tops. Now I just need that speedo driven gear for my th350.
