Are these the correct gears?

I need some gears for my 4th gen rear, it was a 373 posi stock, so that makes it a 3 series carrier right? Which of these 2 are the ones I want? What are the differences? summit part numbers RMG-SGM7508 and RMG-SGM75008. Also what are the differences in these install kits? which one do i need? RMG-831044M and RMG-831016M . Thanks for any help summit is confusin me

You need the 1044 kit; the 1016 is the 78-81 kit, and it has a smaller pinion head bearing. That bearing will fall right through a 82 up housing.

As far as the gears, I can't tell; the description looks the same. Something isn't right.

Neither of those numbers appears on Richmond's page. This is the number Richmond shows on their page.

Then you better get some other kind of gears....

The problem with the Torsens, is that the high-ratio gears like that are quite thick, and block the place you put the "paddles" in through. There's a trick to it, it can be done with some brand of gears or other, but I don't recall the details. Ask over on www.ls1tech.com no doubt somebody over there will know.
