4th gen and 3rd gen rear ends

Will the rear differential cover off a 4th gen camaro fit the 3rd gens?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86

Yes. They're the same size diff. The fourth gen is just wider. The same cover will also fit on S10's and any other GM that uses the 7.5/7.625" diff.
