Help 2.73 to 3.42
Hi, i have 2.73s right now on my 92rs 305, and im going tomorrow to go get some 3.42 put in and im just wanting to know how much of a difference am i gonna feel and because im low on cash i just want wanna make sure that this is gonna be money well spent. Thanks again any comments are appreciated!

go for it dude.it`s the best money you can spend in my book.i did a 3.42 swap with a powertrax locker and it made a world of difference.taking off is so much better.

Most stock 305 TBI cars see a few tenths taken off of their ET at the track. However, some people see no gains in their ET but instead see a mph or two increase in their trap. None the less you will love the new feel your car has with those gears. They will also pay divedends when you mod your car further down the road.
