two pilot bushings?
hey i bought a clutch set from the local store and it had 2 bushing in it. The both slide onto the input shaft of the transimission. One is like a washer that is really thick and the other looks like a normal one that fits into the crankshaft. any idea on where the washer like one goes. this is for a 92 5 speed thanks

If the thick washer looking one is around 2" wide and 3/4 of an inch thick, then that's your throw out bearing....

it isn't the throw out bearing. the hole is one big enough to slide onto the tip of the input shaft. any other ideas ? thanks

Nope, sorry! My 91 T5 doesn't have anything like that. Hopefully someone else will chime in....

I guess I am going to put it in with out it. It must have been a clutch that fits a couple of cars and they gave me that too.
